Due video muti proiettati su pareti opposte di una sala buia propongono il dialogo di due artiste che si contendono dalla distanza di due generazioni un pesce morto, aspirazione ad un pasto che non verrà mai consumato: l’arte.
Io/Lei insceniamo un conflitto senza soluzione.
Emergiamo dal nero. Lei, l’artista, fuma, contendendo il mio resto.
Ci troviamo l’una di fronte all’altra (così vogliamo apparire allo sguardo di chicchessia).
Il pesce è il pasto (il resto) che non si consuma. Testimone involontario dell’assoluta necessità.
Io aspettavo. Il suo agitare le mani intorno a quel filo solleticava la mia voglia di dormire.
Ci guardiamo? Siamo distanti. Il gioco è prendersi dallo stesso capo senza nulla concedere al resto: orgoglio della parola.
L’arte? Riposa nel suo giaciglio.

Two videos, on two walls, one opposite the other, show the mute dialogue between two artists, Lucia Nazzaro and Irene Pittatore. Who from the gap between two different generations, contend a dead fish: the aspiration for a meal that will never be eaten: art.
The two of us play a conflict without solution.
We emerge from the blackness. She, the artist, is smoking, contending my leftovers.
We find ourselves one in front of the other (that’s what we want to look like to an onlooker anyway).
The fish is the meal (the leftovers) that we do not eat. Involuntary witness of absolute necessity.
I was waiting. Her waving her hands about around that yarn stimulated my desire for slumber.
Are we looking at each other?
Art is at slumbering in its resting place.
